Advice Needed

Recommended Posts

Thanks lads I did not want to cause world war 3 I was just after some of your advice. :wallbash: To the following questions.

Im thinking of getting some long nets but not sure on size, length or supplier.

I was thinking about getting a 100 yard net or would I be better with two 50 yard nets. Or would an other length be better?

What size is best 4oz or 6oz? is it like my ferret nets wherby every bit of crap gets stuck in the 4oz?

What is the best place to get quality, yet low cost nets from?

What else do I need apart from nets, poles and end pins?

Any other advice you can offer me?

You have misunderstood why i use the compass. I dont use it to check which way the wind is blowing but which way i need it to be! I then check the weather before i set out. Plus I use my phones compass app, i dont want go throwing that away :icon_eek:

I learnt all I know off my granddad and one of the first things he said is not to believe half of what you read. And a nugget of wisdome from my first longnetting trip; if you fall facefirst into the ground because you didnt see a fallen brance, you will spook a fair few bunnies!
