"At least we are out working our dogs,instead of leaving them to get unfit" maybe im just old school,but i was always taught the summer months are off limits.something ive always maintained. you can keep your dog relatively fit without chasing milky does all over the place.personally i see no sport or fun in that whatsoever. I think scothunter has hit it on the nail regarding old school and basically respecting your quarry. Are most of the guys who run summer relatively new to the sport? I know the coney destroyer isn't but what about the rest of you? i havent clue what age the summer hunters are,and cant be f****d checking thier profiles,but im guessing there mostly young lads.without the slagging and insults.Dont you guys see the point we are making by not hunting in the summer.or do you just not give a shit about the quarry you hunt and its all for the thrill of the kill no matter what time of year it is or how heavily preg or rearing young.
