Hare coursing is a sport but to others it's cruel, idiots I know but that's life! Mon then!!!!!! Hare coursing is banned. You see this is where we differ lol. Us dogmen hunt vermin, we pretty much hunt vermin which destroys crops etc, or try to keep the numbers down. We generally don't have a financial interest in what we hunt. Whereas you shooters shoot birds which cost you money to raise. You don't hunt vermin as sport but more to prevent your sport being ruined. We on the other hand want to even preserve the vermin during the summer cos that's what we hunt in the winter, that is our sport. Quote Link to post

To be honest mate I think both you and baw are right problem is I come under the category of hypocrite because I will hunt some "vermin" without exception all year round but will actively encourage other "vermin" to increase in number so that I can hunt it in season it's a trade off between the job and the love of the sport 1 Quote Link to post

You just said on another thread that you don't do that so let's not fall out..!!Foxes are vermin, fact! Whether you catch them with dogs, snares or shoot the fuckers I don't care, as long as you do it sensibly then it's a job done. Oh and let's not pretend you 'hunt vermin" for crop protection... Lol... You do it for sport.. Nothing wrong with that al add, don't pretend you do it for any other reason!!!! Quote Link to post
