HAD A CALL OF A KEEPER YESTERDAY AFTER SEEING A FOX A AROUND THE LAND OWNERS LAMBING EWES, I DONT LIKE TO WORK FOX THIS TIME OF YEAR, BUT I CANT SAY NO AS THIS IS A FAIR LUMP OF LAND I HAVE THE RIGHTS ON, SO A PHONE CALL TO MY MY MATE [sHADOW ] OF HERE SHOVELS BACK OUT OF THE SHED AND ON OUR WAY, WE SOON FOUND THE CULPRITE NOT IN THE SPOT WE WAS TOLD BUT JUST A FIELD FURTHER ALONG, SO COLLER ON TERRIER IN WHICH FOUND MORE OR LESS STRAIGHT AWAY. 30 MINUTES LATER BROKE THROUGH TO A WELL BOTTLED UP VIXEN. DISPATCHED AND TIDIED UP. CLAD TO SAY SHE WASENT IN MILK. PROBABLY WRONG FOX.

good job pal, its not nice having to dig this time of year but when a keeper calls about cubs etc it has to be done?! i had to do 5 cubs just last week, and have another 2 call outs (tomorrow and monday) both litters well visible and doing damage to game birds (and lambs) !!

how do you re locate them then mate?

 

and im sure the landowner will be happy with you dumping a fixen and cubs on his land ffs

 

 

if you got no intension of dispatching them whats the point in digging them, what you do break through to them give them a kiss and say see you next year ffs people like you are the arssholes in my eyes.

 

and its not about killing them its about doing the job youve been askt to do properly.
