However, fur loss is a symptom of 'cushing's disease'. CD is a liver disease that ultimately packs in the liver and has to be managed with daily tablets (my last dog got it when he was older). Bald either side but not underneath. lurcher330 2,301 Posted April 30, 2011 Report Share Posted April 30, 2011 one of my whippets gets that i call it ratty tail but i have been putting boi oil on his tail for the last few weeks and give it a strong wormer and feed cod liver oil i dont know what is getting the results but it's working and none of it can do any harm but my dog should have all the hair back in the next week or so Quote Link to post Share on other sites
