Its just this is my first too jills and i dont want them dying on me! What is the best to do ? Quote Link to post

If you dont want to breed find someone with a vasectomised hob to run with her, or get her to the vets for a jill jab (hormone injection) either method will keep your options open for future years you basically want the swelling to go down & it a pain in the backside Quote Link to post

Guest Bigbob
Anybody needed more than one jill jab in a season ???? ive heard repeated jabs can cause hard lumps under the injection site Quote Link to post
reynardhunter 3
Thanks i think ill go with the jill jab!! you have any idea how much this costs? Cheers If you dont get the jab or the snipped hob just make sure the bedding is kept clean, they,ll probably be a bit off for a week or two but they should be ok, mine just lost abit of weight and put it back on and they were fine, i used to give them a tonic called collavet, its just pick me up, i,ve used it on horses, dogs, birds etc. Quote Link to post
