Oly 12
Keep hold of them please Chaz - a copy of them is now on here - which is useful, but if you can keep hold of them (at least until the 22nd when we will know what the Police want to do with regard to a criminal prosecution) it would be greatly appreciated. secretagentmole 1,701
Davy don't worry, all the users on here are now behind you, you tried your best to be a true friend and this is the thanks you get! You have been a good friend to Mole and Mrs Mole, even at our slightly rocky start! With help and advice from you, simon, zini and the good gang we have got ourselves sorted out and now I am regularly getting rabbits! Some of us need a guardian angel (and someone to point out when we have jumped in so deep we have no hope of surfacing), so please keep up the good work and take it from us, we are appreciative! Oly 12
According to Royal Mail's tracking service David Graham received my letter yesterday at ~3pm. A copy of which is below. 5th May 2011 Mr David Graham, On the 12th April 2011 you received £300 as full payment for a .22 calibre BSA R10 (Mk2) pre-charged pneumatic air rifle, including a Twink (Mk2) silencer, and three magazines to be posted to the address above, advertised on www.pigeonwatch.co.uk and www.gunwatch.co.uk as “once used, no rust or marksâ€. The money was sent to your Santander bank account XXXXXXXX sort code XX-XX-XX. These items have not been received. Having spoken with both Consumer Direct, and Cheshire Police, they have informed me that whilst you personally did not advertise the items, as you have taken and retained payment, you are legally responsible with regard to this transaction. Both Consumer Direct and Cheshire Police have advised that I formally write to you to notify you of my intentions, and to give you formal opportunity to rectify the situation. As the person liable for this transaction, please take this letter as formal notification of my request for either; the items (as described in detail above) to be sent to the address above, or a full refund (£300) to be returned to my bank account XXXXXXX sort code XX-XX-XX, by the 22nd May 2011. If either the items, or the refund, is not received as per the above details by the 22nd May 2011, I will be proceeding with both civil and criminal legal action. Yours sincerely...
