tote 854
It could be a phantom pregnancy mate, not uncommon when you use a snipped hob. Then again if the hob's unproven she might be in kit, time will tell. Quote Link to post

The one 8,467
They will redo it for you but there going to be cutting into scar tissue and trying to reseal it it will take longer to heal , did you leave the hob for about three months after he had the snip ?.but being honest i dont think it matters its a gamble and you dont know if its worked till you try him with a jill Quote Link to post

Fookin vet. Unbeliveably when missus took our old dog to be PTS they wouldnt do it until she paid MY bill (for the 2nd snip, which i had obviously told em to go swing for) ! Caring profession eh........... twats one and all Quote Link to post
ade33uk 86
I got three jills here that I put my mates vac hob over ,they all look bigger than the jill I put over the intact hob , Im shitting myself now after reading this post, cant handle 3 or 4 litters ... Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
I wonder how many accidental vac hob litters are born each year, and the hob needs re-doing. Not a bad earner for the vet. Quote Link to post

BiasedCrane 0
It's not uncommon for a vasectomy to reverse after some time, even on a hob earlier proven to be infertile (only way to properly check this is through tissue analysis... Or whatever fancy name they slap on it). Even if the vasectomy is failed from the start, the vet shouldn't be blamed for it. The best of the best will get it wrong at times (often through no fault of their own), it's a known risk and one that isn't always avoidable, if you never want kits get them all castrated or spayed, if you just want to put off having kits for a season or two have the jills jabbed (Usually around £15 a shot, but if you've got a whole group to do they may give you discount) to bring them out of season and separate the hob whilst they're all in season...
