Storm da bull 7
Breeding any dog before it's 3 just puts it's body under to much stress it's like a child getting up duff IMO. You don't want to anyway mate my lab ended up having 11 and with 4 inverted nipples we had to hand rear them not fun times 2 weeks with no sleep to make sure we didn't lose 1. Never will I breed a dog again leave it to the people that know what they doing much cleaner that way aswell lol Atb Quote Link to post

Did you go to the same school as whin. The person that told you that you could breed with her now was right, well you will be able to breed her when she comes in season, it wouldn't be the right thing to do but it would be possible. The better option would be to give her a few years graft and see how she turns out, if you're happy with her take it from there. Quote Link to post

DogMagic 461
Well i WAS going to help you untill i saw your uncalled for foul mouthed tirade at others that tried to help you. Then i noticed your from sunderland so i understand that perhaps you cant help it. For the sake of the dog i will still do my best to drum some sense into your numb little skull. When the bitch comes into season KEEP HER SEPERATED FROM ALL OTHER DOGS. Three weeks later you can carry on as normal with her. Her next season should be 12 months later (some smaller breeds and terriers etc are only 6 months between seasons). THIS IS THE EARLIEST TO CONSIDER BREEDING FROM HER. I would however suggest you only do it this early if you work her hard EVERY day AND most nights and she is not only physically fit and strong enough but ALSO you have seen her do enough to KNOW BEYOND ANY DOUBT that she is a first class worker and you would be proud of her in company. But before any of that PLEASE go to evening classes/night school and learn basic english AND consider an anger management course. 2 Quote Link to post
lisa101 4
my take on it is this, a bitch regardless of how she's bred or how good a confornation she's got or how nice she is, has to prove she's worthy of breeding, and by that i mean graft and plenty of it, at least 4 full seasons under her belt. too many folk putting untested dogs or unachieving dogs over untested or under achieving bitches just to make a fast buck. you want nowt breeding off a 11month old bitch in my opinion Couldn't agree more, also IMO the breeding from untested/under achieving dogs is one of the reasons why so many lurchers end up in rescue, which in turn contributes to giving folk who work their dogs a bad reputation, just more fuel for the antis.
