kitch 1 Posted April 26, 2011 Report Share Posted April 26, 2011 just thinking are we the strictest country in the world when it comes to gun laws whats the power levels in other countrys ? for airrifles even france can shoot and buy 22 rims with out liciences. are r writes as sportsman been taken away . and lets notforget your moor likley to mame with under powered rifles . iv been told that even in scotland some shooting estates are baning 243s because they believe there under powered for deer and now ask for a min of 308 . the same must be said for airrifles when shooting rabbits or hares .why should we not be trusted with high powered air rifles if it doesent appley to the rest of europe. Most of the pro stalkers use .270's, as they are better at longer ranges, but some use the .243 quite happily, plenty of power out to a good range, and a lovely flat trajectory. Some countries in Europe don't allow ANY air weapons other than on some kind of licence. Quote Link to post

kitch 1 Posted April 26, 2011 Author Report Share Posted April 26, 2011 the goverment want us to have the same laws as europe when it suits but not where guns are consernd take the fx gun why is it not allowed other here in semi auto but in other countrys it is and all that about no your limits is tosh quite happy shotting rabbits out 100yard up with a 22 rim with the same scope as a 22 are rifle thats the limit so give us the power to do it in air and simi auto would be nice Quote Link to post
