Keeps 403
A couple of weeks ago we had a look up to our ferreting ground, just for a wander round, without the ferrets. We haven’t managed to get up here so frequently this year, due to the hard winter and a few other things going on, so we wanted to have a look about and see what was happening. Called in to say hello to the keeper for a quick cuppa before we had a look about, he says he has some new places we have not been to before to show us for the coming season We took Indie, his daughter Inca and one of the terriers “Ellie†with us, we hadn’t been out of the vehicle for 30 seconds before Ellie had nailed a rabbit along a stone wall. Nuala was in season so had to stay at home on this occasion. We had a good morning out, the dogs enjoyed themselves. Inca is coming on well, she is now much faster than her old dad but has his drive and is showing lots of promise... a few photos of our morning out... roll on September..I can’t wait 1 Quote Link to post

Keeps 403
thanks for the comments, we are very lucky to be able to run the dogs on the land, been going there a few years now, although most of our ferreting is actually in the woods, this is our (and their) favourite bit for mooching on. Good pics Hows the young black dug bred ? Shes out of the black dog in the photos above, who is 1/4 beardie 3/4 greyhound. Her dam, Nuala is deer x grey with a bit of collie way back Quote Link to post
