Recommended Posts

Hi all Does or has anyone shipped dogs abroad? I have the opportunity to relocate to Canada/US & obviously dont & wont go without my dogs (2 lurchers & 2 terriers) I imagine its complicated & expensive however if they dont go then neither do i  If anyone knows or has experience of the procedure then any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers The Chimp

think they just need to be micro chipped and inoculated if they are not comeing back in to the country but if you are going to be bringing them back they need the pet passport.

ive herd the transport is expencive. i would phone different airfreight companys and get a quote of them

good luck ;)

It costs around £700 to send a lurcher size pup over to America and theres only two places in England that they can be sent from,London and Manchester.I was going to send a pup over last year.I made all the enquiries and got the information, but the lad said it was too much money to send it.You could pm gregd who is an American member on here.He got a pip sent over to him last year and helped me find out what I needed to know.If I can find the paperwork I will pm you with it.
