Good Man 196
Finding it hard to give the dogs a run these mornings, what with the ground here being rock hard every where! No decent rain for a while now. Whats it like with all of you? Just road walking mine early in the morning before the heat gets up! Quote Link to post

BORDERSCOT 3,816
Hard ground can be a real problem at this time of year especially for big bulky dogs or saplings. I'm lucky as I'm minutes away from thick grassy moorland with plenty cushion. It's like running on cotton wool. Quote Link to post
bird 9,873
feck me its summer , why run dogs anyway . Ok let them have a mad couple mins, when they 1st come out of the kennels. But after that just give a nice steady walk, you can get them fit mid august for the season.!! Quote Link to post

undisputed 1,664
General exercise is all the dog needs at this time of year you don't have to keep the dog in because the ground is hard. 1 Quote Link to post
