birddog 1,354 Posted April 25, 2011 Report Share Posted April 25, 2011 lot of variables, what type of ground etc. ive used many types from 26'' deerhoundy lurcher to lurcher types to whippets (non peddy of course) and currently use a 3/8 collie x 5/8 greyhound and she's ace. for me the important thing is experience whatever you decide on it'll get better and better the more it's out, for what it's worth i think a wee bit of collie in them helps them pick up the wee tricks o the trade a wee bit quicker. hope it helps good luck Quote Link to post
