Hiya Scott my name is stuart and i just joined the forum today.

i also live in central scotland and im trying to get in to air rifle hunting. i like the kill it, cook it, eat it idea. also if what i do helps crop damage ect. then awsome. i am currently looking for my first permission and not having much luck.

ive been to a couple of farms but it seems no one is in on a sunday  . i spoke to one farmer who said he allready had too many people shooting on his land which is fair enough i suppose as it is his home.

So i guess what im asking is do you know of any where tht might be looking for someone to shoot woodies rabbits ect.?

Oh yes and i live in the Grangemouth area

alright stuart

a couple of things that may help, insurance is always a good start, when you approach landowners remember they are usually pretty busy especially at this time of year.dont go ringing doorbells head to toe in camo gear dress casual.sometimes better to write a letter with your details and intentions along with any experience you have.dont give up when you get refused try somewhere else instead.if you pm me some details about yourself, may be able to arrange a day out at least
