You better choose something else, especially if you lamp. Not many Whippets can pull of a night of good runs, but if you only want a couple of dozen runs Whippet are the nuts.

they are some lovely looking dogs mate.to be honste i just love being out working the dogs and ferrets it realy dont bother me if i catch 1 or 100

There is no one best breed or x for lamping fox, for ferreting, for hunting bunnies, as a terriermans dog, as a mooching dog, to tackle deer etc. Best just don't mean shit.

hi am after some advice as iv alaways beens into terriers and terrier work but i want to get a whippet as iv just been given

2 golf corses to work and clear off the rabbits.iv got 4 ferrets and a patterdale but i think i need some think abit quicker for

when they bolt.can any one help and do you have any pictures of your working whippets.

whippet in its pure state would be the last dog i would want to be a rabbiting dog maybe part whippet grew but not pure , had feerrets and saw lots of rabbiting dogs whippets are fun dogs but not what i would pick maybe collie grey back to hard blood they shine at rabbs
