Purse Nets

Recommended Posts

Don't suppose its any cheaper unless you buy the stuff in bulk . it roughly the same price where ever you buy it but its the time you put in even at the minium wage it would mount up .The joy comes from catching a rabbit in a net youv'e made your self ..I only use nets iv'e knitted myself over preference to shop bought or cut off of a long net . the point was brought home years ago when we where out and i had the net bag after we had netted up it was just the shop bought nets that where left in the bag

ive never made my own, but i only pay £1:60 a net and there hemp, start at 8 and go to 18 then back to 8, at £1:60 it seems mad to make my own, ive got 80 nets and have never had a problem, there is mostly always 2 of us ferreting and my mates have nets too, if there is more than 50 holes we normally long net any ways  i also make my own pegs, im using hazel atm but hazels :censored: privet, beech, oak, box is the best..

There is nothing wrong with buying good quality nets in but there is no better satisfaction than catching rabbits in nets you have made yourself

£1.60p for hemp nets not bad at all
