heymmayo 0
Cookey, I have a T3 lite 6.5x55. what made me favour the tikka was the free floating Barrel. "Patterdale Boy" has a point, Check that nothing is lodged under the barrel and check that your mod is not interfering with it(i.e. not touching). The other thing is... My friend bought a rifle recently and the scope was fitted by the shop. Turns out that when they fitted the barrel, they in advertently over tightend it and caused some damage (and erm, forgot to point this out to him). Have you or any of your friends got a barrel laser? I also have an heym .223 and when it comes to rounds, i do not allow any cheap rubbish down the barrel. Here in Ireland I can buy 6.5x 55 rounds for 25 euro or if i want a decent stag, 85 euro. Guess which ones i use to sight the scope? and guess which ones i use for that 13 pointer Happy grouping, i mean shooting Quote Link to post

If it was military it may well have been 5.56 not .223, I guess your barrel has .223 stamped on it, I am yet to find a barrel that says .223 OR 5.56, they are not the same! Some "cheap" ammo, such as the PRVI .223 55g SP works very well in my 1-8, .223 T3 Lite Stainless! Glad it is sorted. ATB! Quote Link to post
