tika t3 light stainliss 1 in 8 twist omg what ammo

Recommended Posts

Cookey, I have a T3 lite 6.5x55. what made me favour the tikka was the free floating Barrel. "Patterdale Boy" has a point, Check that nothing is lodged under the barrel and check that your mod is not interfering with it(i.e. not touching). The other thing is... My friend bought a rifle recently and the scope was fitted by the shop. Turns out that when they fitted the barrel, they in advertently over tightend it and caused some damage (and erm, forgot to point this out to him). Have you or any of your friends got a barrel laser?

I also have an heym .223 and when it comes to rounds, i do not allow any cheap rubbish down the barrel.

Here in Ireland I can buy 6.5x 55 rounds for 25 euro or if i want a decent stag, 85 euro. Guess which ones i use to sight the scope? and guess which ones i use for that 13 pointer

Happy grouping, i mean shooting

ok i soked the barrel with copper remover and gave it a dam good cleaning mf fn arm was sor sfter it lol.

got my hands on sum horanady 60 grain and 55 and 50 ,

and guess what at 100 yards 20 mm at 200 with 60 grain 1 inch so now i am a happy bunny lol

it was a combination of loose bolt on swivel bipod and dirty barrel and cheap ammo will never put that millatry scrap through my barrel again have five fuking boxes of it lying in the safe and they will never see the inside of my barrel ,,

they wer the cause of most of my problems .

I'm NOT trying to launch into another one here as this subject has been done to death.

If it was military it may well have been 5.56 not .223, I guess your barrel has .223 stamped on it, I am yet to find a barrel that says .223 OR 5.56, they are not the same! Some "cheap" ammo, such as the PRVI .223 55g SP works very well in my 1-8, .223 T3 Lite Stainless!

Glad it is sorted.
