Had received a temporary permit in the post last week. FEO said they have 2 officers off long term sick and are running well behind so don't panic! kieran222 0 Posted May 12, 2011 Report Share Posted May 12, 2011 No harm giving them a call. I phoned up and asked if they had received the letter from my neighbour who was my referee. The girl that I spoke to asked me to hold on while she went through the application. After thanking her for her efforts, she then said that she would process it that day as she had it to hand. It may be worth asking a specific question about your application. It took just under 6 weeks to get my FAC. I am with West midlands though. Anyway a polite call may help. Good luck. davegilly 1 Posted May 14, 2011 Author Report Share Posted May 14, 2011 Good newss i rung the office yesterday, she said she had all the necessary bits and bobs, and it was being dealt with by the 'field officer' but she said she was sorry, but im going to have to allow up to three months for my meeting, as they are extreemly busy!!! i wasnt happy but put it out of my mind and carried on lol. .....the field officer rung today!! meeting next wednesday....job done lol. I rung em today, asking how long the application will take, i said i kinda need it urgently as rabbits are destroying our maize crops she put me on hold for a while, came back and said, well your very lucky, i have spoke to the constab. and he will process it asap, you will recieve it in a few days!!!!!! haha welll chuffed, so much for 3 and a half months Quote Link to post
