cz v mossberg

Recommended Posts

I've got a cz style ( rimfire trigger kit 13 quid) Ziess conquest scope and I swear by it . The last fox I had was about 130 yards out of the motor in the middle of the eyes. They say the bullet moves about but have had no probs out to about 80 -90 yards in wind but had a few where i've had to compensate. Can't understand the law don't recognise the calibre for fox. The one I shot at 130 yrds there was a hole in and an exit wound

I would get the CZ out of the two.

I have a savage thumbhole 17hmr and its a great bit of kit and very accurate when I shoot straight.

A pal was in the same situation, we looked at the mosberg, and after doing some research I think they are cheap and nastily made - if you want an issue free safe buy, trust me - buy the CZs - not heard of a bad one yet - although a lot of people change the trigger (about £15-20) its not a big job and very simple to do.

They both tend to shoot ok but is it aesthetics or what, that requires you have a thumbhole?

Buy a rifle to shoot, not to look pretty and get the CZ whatever!

Mossberg doesn't do it at all for me!

We all have ideas, we all learn and sometimes we get a surprise, be honest with yourself and don't fall into the trap everyone seems to, the whole world owns the best rifle possible...BULL, people just can't bring themselves to admit they cocked up!

Do you want a heavy rifle..WHY?

Take a look at this lot, for general field work just go and buy a Silhouette or American (if you want wood), learn from that and if by any chance you want something more (I will be staggered if you do, nothing will do better accuracy wise in the field), move on from there!

ATB!
