You don't say what you want it for mate as it could make a difference.

 

I do quite a bit of lamping with the lurchers.

My own preference is for the lazerlight lamp and 7amp battery.

It has a nice tight beam and can last up to 3 hours depending on how

often the lamp is on.

 

If that's not long enough get a 10amp battery to go with the lamp.

all depends what kind of lamping you are doing for big feilds its got 2 be the blitz 240 ;)

 

i have a striker 170 and a clu lite , i only really use the 170 , i think the blitz 240 is to big to cart around , with lamp in one hand and dog on slip in the other ,

everone is different butt for the lamping we do big feilds and off the back off the van blitz 240 is the dogs bollox for the job everyone to their own ;)

 

what are you goinng to be running mate and for big feilds you are going to need something that is going to hold it in the beam

I bought a lamp from Arthur Carter field sports through the Countrymans and it is a Lazerlite (I Think)

It is made bu Clulite and I think it's a great lamp. I got it with a 17amp battery four years ago but replaced the battery with a 7 amp one as the 17 weighs a bloody tone.

 

Its fairly compact too so can be hid in your jacket fairly easy.
