i would like to orginise an avent open to all running dogs but its a bit difficalt as im in wiltshire and there are not many lurcher people in the area, i have a lure and in the prosess of sorting some pullys out.

I will be at the spy park dog show with the lure this year i hope

Typicle! the only thing stopping you organising 1 is you, get 1 sorted advertise it then we'll all come on and slag it off?.

Come on Blando you critisised our plans get one sorted! so show us how it should be done.

i was not criticizing i just think it should be open to everyone i wish i could better your attempt but there is just not enough people in this area specially ones that show any interest in lure coursing. for me its just something to do in the summer to keep the dogs fit when i cant work them.

if there was any interest in a event i could maybe organize one for the spring/summer

So your not organising one because you havent got any interest, thats why this has only been organised for KC reg whippets, because in the past they are the ONLY ones who showed any interest. What is the point of organising something and then only half the dogs turning up, it would be a laughing stock.

i take my hat of to anybody who takes the time and effort in organising one of these events its hard work,and you always get slagged of by the dicks who can do it better but cant be bothered
