Accip74 7,112
In 1989 my brother took me to see R.E.M, I was 14 or 15........but what struck me was the support act, The Throwing Muses.....I'd never heard anything like it & I realised then that music for me went way behond the top 40! That's one of the amazing things about music, there's so many masterpieces out there from different genres which we will never hear. They are lost in obscurity and will never be discovered by us. I keep thinking writers will run out of ideas and eventually there will be thousands of copyright cases. But it never happens. There's always constant creativity in music. I wonder if computer programmes will eventually take over the writing of new material? Hope not.
