Did you see the auction at christie's, of knopfeler's guitar collection?

Went for 8.8 million pounds.

I have not but will look it up. The sound he creates from an electric guitar at times is similar to pipes, an ancient ethereal sound.

I just noticed Burt Lancaster in the collage, a nod to Local Hero. One of my old charge hands used to reference him when we were taking too many risks with working at height activities "who do you think you are son, f***ing Burt Lancaster?" Thank you for posting the video, you're a gent
