pestcontrol121 11
If it the MPN 40K try the battery connections on the unit, if not it could be the tubes or a dry solder inside the unit, if you have no warranty you may as well take it apart and have a play yourself as it would not be worth sending it for repair as you can buy them for around £160. Good luck and keep us updated

sako 23
I cant help on this one, my preferred methods for disassembly are... Wood= chainsaw anything else= sledge and if it needs reassembling, weld, duct tape or baling cord! Sorry to hear you've got problems when you seem to have been having success with the spotting, hope you sort it!

To be honest with you i don't muck about with gen 1 its just to hard to strip down as most of the components are bonded in, what i can say is be careful when playing as you can get a fair belt off them, the power supply to the tubes hold a good charge

bouncer 51
just thought i would let you know i took the binoculars up to a friend of mine who owned them in the first place he said he had the same trouble with them and it was the battery terminals inside,he said they probably need cleaning which i had already done.so i left them with him i had only gone down the road 5 minutes away and he rang me to say they were working so i went back up to get them and went out with them last night worked brilliantly thanks for the replies.
