77 si 21
Yes mate I have noticed the odd one so far, think it will spread quickly though if we keep getting warm weather.
markha 99
Last October saw mixy hit up here very hard and wiped out all the little critters, which was nice as It freed up some evenings to tackle foxes. No mixy about at the moment.

secretagentmole 1,701
Mixy is close to my permission. About 3-4 miles away so awaiting the inevitable. There again, free me time up to go chasing woodies and collareds! No signs of it on the permission yet though, so I am hoping it is not going to show... Buster321c 1,010
2 years back it wiped out the rabbits on one of my shoots , and i mean wiped them out . The numbers went from being overrun with them to nothing , and it felt like it came and went overnight . Its taken an absolute age to get them back , but their comming . The last couple of months ive seen a few rabbits about , and signs that they are comming back . Another permission i have had a mild case last summer . Probably knocked out about a third of them , but there ok now . There seems to be a cycle to the disease , and it comes every 5-7 years , but will give the young some tollerance. Mixied rabbits can be eaten ( although i would`nt touch em ) and it really is a horrible disease . Edited April 20, 2011 by Buster321c
Karpman 44
Two fields away from my perm. Had permission to mop them up.with the dog, unlucky for the rabbits but my pooch thinks he is the tits. I eat them if there not to under weight and they don't honk to much from the enlarged privates. The fields near my house got wiped out by it and seemed to take an age to come back. Wondering how the buzzards will do as will they be helpful in nailing effected rabbits fast or will they spread mix to en even worse degree. Karpman
