HOW TO BREED A HARE DOG

i went for beddyxgrey sulkixgrey rater then pure saluki as mother was i like a dog to av a good bit of pace if i was to use the saluki as the mother il like to put three quater grey xbeddy that came with a bit of coat. but you could put a pure beddy x pure saluki and cheese o that could be way forward

if i couldnt use any of the old lines id go saluki over a genuine whippet/greyhound and build from there.

it was me fathers choice of dog he liked the beddy in there make up he recon it gave em heart

If you where starting from the start l try get myself a whippet x grey some thing that is really good on the lamp and out with ferrets one which can turn and as a good mouth.Then go get a service off a full saluki something that is out 2 3 days a week over the winter months and killing plenty off hares and has good sett off lungs on him :thumbs:

i agree mate, but we are talking dogs for hunting fens,farm fields etc. not grave yards and local parks :boogie: :boogie: :boogie:

Never seen a hare in a graveyard or in a park but know few good rabbit setts :whistling:
