JPTfellterrier 65
if the animal is well cared for and happy....who cares if it isnt working! Quote Link to post
whin 463
its not a care but if you breed animals to work for along time it can be so easy to give them to pet owners and a generaition down the line they are not the same stamp ,,i dont see what pet owners have to give to a so called hunting site as theyll not be going through the pain barrier to work there dogs ferrets , its adiffrent thing always wil;l be Quote Link to post

Ratreeper 441
my mrs keeps the most useless ferret as a pet you can imagine, it won't even eat meat ffs. I got it handed to me at work because they worked I kept ferrets and wasn't going to keep it. But it's perfectly happy and healthy, gets handled etc so what's the problem? It just gets left behind. We may not like it !(and it pisses me off mightily when I have to rescue one) but so what,,I`ve got more to bother about. ATB Oh and he was named Eric ,after the viking,,cause he was the biggest fekin Hob I have ever seen !! Quote Link to post
whin 463
well eric was maybe lucky but al the rest werent and ive always says if you are going breed ferets get them from genuine hunting homes , saw the show shite work , the black arsed whites , best ferrets and possibly the on ly ones are worker to worker and i dont mean afew hours a week, feerets were bred to bolt rabbs the white ferets ive had were good sandys were good , not just eric , its the man behind the animal plus ,the breeding just like terriers lurchers etc ,they were bred to work if i had my way only worker to worker if they dont work furrier or in a hole ,should be licenced to pestcontrolers and rabbiting men not silly gerbil keepers as some keep them crufts feched up good workers if people dont watch itll go the same Quote Link to post
