Amateurs through and through .Why shoot it in the velvit if a trophy is required .Just as well admit it .

:laugh::laugh: it was shot early april last years, but as you no everything :blink: i must have shot it out of season NOT, ive seen bucks get culled off peg and guns land in velvet many a times in early april but i must be lying again ;) when im told a buck is causing damage and IT IS buck season ill cull it as soon as i get the chance im not bothered about gold medal thats just me so why cant some people keep there mouth shut or go on another site,because this bickering is a load of bollocks

Hello all i like roe deer & love to see them big & small colour etc.I have some good buck's but cull a lot of last year's buck's in april/may & most of them are in velvet.I do have bigger lad's that are clean by the 1st april but i get a lot of young lad's in corner's etc & if shootable there racked & stacked.I like to see head's just to be nosie & like the gold freak pic nice & i enjoy taken friend's out & let them shoot & maybe passs on some knowledge & this is why im on this site to learn & maybe help people with same interest.

Im fully aware of bucks in velvit being in season mate but you are right ,I do know everything which is why I post on here to keep you lesser mortals in line .My first post was meant as a justification to put that pic up as a good head? :hmm: .Ive shot many a buck in velvet but never class even the biggest as being a good head .Let the big fellers clean ,then admire them .

i get where your coming from as this is the only set ive kept in velvet, i thought id just get one set on a plack which i thought where good enought for me :good:
