bunnys 1,228
personally i would go to a none ped whippet to a saluki bitch this will give you that speed plus reduce size etc ,the none ped has been used with very good results oversalukis ,the peds can and do produce a high degree of slow mos, there his top bred racing working none ped whipps at stud on this site mike brown his in the job for the coin and does not consistently work his dogs your bitch your choice atb bunnys Quote Link to post
Country Joe 1,411
Never having owned a Suluki, I take it they have good feet? as some of the Whippet X Greys do seem to have this trait, before being bombarded with posts saying mines are okay, I did say some, Even having just pre booked a registered Whippet, if the Suluki crosses usually have good feet, then I also would see nothing wrong in using a Whippet X Grey working or Racing strain. poacher3161 1,766
I would use non of them and find a good 3quarter bred lurcher only going on my own exspieriences after owning two decent lurchers bred out of pure salukis. Quote Link to post

jamie7344 271
this little dog s like that, like a bloodhound in the daytime, but to be fair he is 100% spot on on the lamp comes straight back to hand after a run with or without his quarry Edited April 17, 2011 by jamie7344 Quote Link to post

rab 123 1
if you are looking for a fast dog with the saluki stamina and the whippet coursing ability i would cross a saluki and greyhound pick the biggest dog from the litter and then cross with a whippet Edited April 17, 2011 by rab 123 Quote Link to post

I agree about the speed, though ! Cheers. Quote Link to post
