But a lurcher could be a 7/8 whippet 1/8 beddy and it could be a 7/8 deerhound 1/8 greyhound. So quite a variety. Having an idea of how much of what blood went into the pups gives a slightly better idea of the dog in question surely? My dog is sal/whip/grey. For all you know he could be 90% saluki or 10% saluki. The only way to get a 3/8 5/8 dog is to cross a 3/4 collie, bull, saluki etc 1/4 grey with a full grey. As far as I can remember this is the only way you will get a level litter. Quote Link to post
