hi all, read something bout treating stocks with linseed oil, my aa s410c the walnut stock is starting to look a bit tired if i treated it with linseed oil would it be boiled or raw? (have spotted a tin of boiled at work this morning :thumbs:) also how do i go about it ie: do i have to sand down first as wouldent want to ruin the checkering? or just a good clean with a damp cloth etc? thancks in advance ant :bye:

A good wipe down with white spirit will clean it, then a soft cloth with boiled linseed oil and sart rubbing it in to the wood. I would do it over a week to get the best finish and put the stock in a warm place between coats. I hope this helps.
