(have spotted a tin of boiled at work this morning ) also how do i go about it ie: do i have to sand down first as wouldent want to ruin the checkering? or just a good clean with a damp cloth etc? thancks in advance ant Quote Link to post
birdman6 10
A good wipe down with white spirit will clean it, then a soft cloth with boiled linseed oil and sart rubbing it in to the wood. I would do it over a week to get the best finish and put the stock in a warm place between coats. I hope this helps. birdman6 Quote Link to post
