sandymere 8,263
It can be caused by many things including over exercise and so a graduated increase of exercise will help or it may possible be hyperventilation causing an alkalosis if the dog is panting for long periods as in the car on the way to a shoot or waiting at the peg. Lactic is now seen as part of a process and not the bad boy of exercise anymore. Basically if you give more info as to the circumstances i.e. increasing exercise, or while sleeping etc then people will be able to give better advice Edited April 15, 2011 by sandymere
