what is peoples opinion on putting brass / chrome parts on airguns do you think it looks tacky or good, to hunting and target shooting guns? (if concealment is not important)

If it's on a classic looking gun like a Weihrauch springer, then I think changing the odd stud or trigger guard to brass is fine:

Daystate put a brass bolt on the huntsman classic a while back and I thought it looked ok

hi,i have just changed my trigger guard on my bsa ultra multi for brass, its abit shiney but it will tarnish with time and will blend with the rifle,as long as you dont polish it......but i think it makes your rifle more trick.... and feels better than the steel one....

i thought i would ask other peoples opinions because i have got a bit carried away with my fn19 and brassed everything possible and a friend said it looks daft. i like it tho so sod him lol

It's down to personal taste, but I like a hunting tool to look like a hunting tool.. Why you'd want to put shiny bits on a rifle used for hunting is beyond me, and gives the first impression that the owner hasn't got a f*****g clue about hunting & field craft...

 

I'm sure it's not the case with you though mate, each to their own.

This ones only for target shooting and lamping from a vehicle so consealment is no promlem

the rabbits dont look at your gun and think oh he has brass parts i will let him shoot me just like fish dont look at the rod and only bite the best lookin one lol if you like it i cany see why not but for me its just a waste atb stewie
