gye2007 1 Posted April 13, 2011 Report Share Posted April 13, 2011 im just coming up to my last 3 days of incubating my bantam eggs. i was told to 1.keep my temprature at 37.7 2.increase my humidity up to 70% an 3. turn of my automatic turning cradel please could any one insure my this is correct. an does anyone have any tips on increasing my humidity levels up as im filling the bottom tray to the top with water an they wont rise above 42% max. also one last thing do i now shut the vent completely or keep it half open. thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Tuzo 251 Posted April 13, 2011 Report Share Posted April 13, 2011 What you've been told is correct, although I wouldn't worry about the humidity too much. If you insist on raising the humidity level place a piece of damp cloth in the bottom or something similar. Its not about the amount of water you put in but the surface area the water covers. AND ONE LAST THING DOES ANYONE NOW WHAT I DO WITH THE AIR VENT ITS BEEN HAILF OPEN FOR THE FULL 17 DAYS DO I KEEP IT AS IT IS OR SHUT IT FOR FOR THE LAST 3DAYS Quote Link to post Share on other sites
