KittleRox 2,147
If Police want to take a dog I woundered what would happen if you informed them you had shot the dog. Is it against the law? Would they then charge you with cruelty? Cheers Law or not they would want to see the body or the vet disposal receipt. That's the reason for the question if you couldn't produce either what could they do legaly and whats the worst you could recieve? Cheers The worst you could receive would be life imprisonment without parole for perverting the course of justice. That is however very unlikely.
tsteve9999 456
what are you exactly trying to get done for? putting a dog down? if so,how did you do so? not disposing of a body? please exsplain. [/quot As I see it it would appear that he may be having a visit from plod to take his dog away and is wondering if he could tell them he had put it down. He's worried they may then do him for cruelty or something. Best bet seems to be to tell them it's run off IMO.
