watched that on iplayer the other day summer coursing with 2 dogs

fair play to them, if i had a caravan full of kids to feed i'd run summer hares, at least they ate them and not just dumped them in the hedge like some do, theres good and bad in all walks of life,and at least they arnt scrounging benifits out the country like alot of the work shy idol feckers round here

People slate people on here for putting pics up on coursing and these DIVS openly film it on TV. I dont think you can get much dafter then that.

Exactly mate. You have to laugh that the only things banned are where an animal kills another animal surely that's the least cruel of them all? Its ok to breed fish, raise them then pull them out the water with a hook............... its ok to breed birds, hand raise them, let them go and shoot them..... but let the most natural form of hunting happen..... right first things first, these people are not gypsies, they are what is left of the highland traveller tradition, secondly the way the sun wrote that peice should be f*****g investigated it smacks or thinly veiled racisim, or bigotry at the very least, the hare kill was the spark that gave them the "right" to print bile about a people often on the edge of society, they are not angels but nor are the the devils that they are often portrayed as,thirdly they ate the f*****g hares and as far as I am concerned if its for the pot you should be allowed to take whatever you can get. The guys on the programme did not seem that educated(many factors for this not just their lifestyle) and had they been, they might have been a wee bit more savvy, BUT its our society thats wrong not these guys, and any other hunter out there either traveller, or settled white or black or whatever should come out and support them. There are alot worse things going out there but as usual a diversion from the real evils in life was needed! And f**k the sun I will never ever buy that paper again

Not at all far from the truth my friend if i had a dog i"d be out all weekend coursing but come on filming your self an putting it on TV is just daft mate they where as good as going straight to the police and telling the desk sergent what they did.

Hopefully i"m going up north to visit a few coursing mates in a couple of weeks but wont be filming it an putting it on bbc1.
