Hi all my old dog long since gone collie greyhound x whippet back to laguna whippet he learnt me more than I ever could him would mark,ferret,bush,work with gun and took lots of different of different quarry and never bottled a great kids dog got me into working lurchers hook line and sinker some dog sadly missed

i,ve ask the question alot myself when all these toipics come is their a right a answer my dogs do all the above apart work 2 gun as i never in that or does,nt take game birds regular ,so do i class mine as allrounder ,another way at looking at this question does the dog have take the quarry week in week out ,cause we all not as lucky as some folk 2 have all the above quarry on the land they hunt all the time ,or just when it gets the chance it takes it ?

in my eyes a dog that you can run anywere will give all on anything but over the years some shine at differnt things FERRETING LAMPING COVER WORK OR EVEN DAYTIME but as long as the dog trys evertime out and what ever you run

The way l look at it if am going for foxes my bitch should be able to take few.If am going for rabbits ferreting or lamping she she take a few there and also catch me few hares and also take down deer if l go for them so in my eyes she and allrounder does everything l hunt and that is all you need.IF your dog takes everything you hunt well its and all rounder to you

if you can run anywere on anything yes thats a allrounder WELL thats what i would think thats a allrounder

My bitch is a good all rounder but very hard mouthed and can be pig headed at times but other than that the bitch only has to be shown once or twice when it comes to anything and she knows what to do....no dog is perfect but she is pefect for me
