Hey bud - just ignore it. If he didn't want to "get into the whole Hancock debate" he wouldn't have posted that shit!!! Enjoy your puppy and all the best.

Thats totally true ! I went there in 84 to take a look at "THE HANCOCK EMPORIUM" as Plumber put it ! I was greeted by several 1/2 cross classless, over weight, mongrels, running round ,which didnt eve

Of course everyone who knocks Hancock and doesn't agree with his ways referring to him as an intensive puppy farmer who rears dogs, caged 24/7 in piles of shit (not my experience I can assure you)will know exactly where their food comes from. They'll shun intensively reared beef, pork, chicken and turkey and will run a mile at the sight of a battery egg and will always strive know the provenance of all they eat and perhaps the things they wear...WILL THEY f**k!!!!! I spoke to one guy the other day who trotted out the old anti-Hancock cliches with - what seemed to be 'good authority' I asked him if he'd ever met the man, been to his premises, had a dog from him or at the very least knew someone who had??? And he hadn't met the man, been to Sutton Coldfield - not even driven through the place, knew anyone who had a Hancock puppy or had even been there!!! And to be honest I suspect this is the case with quite a few of his knockers. I've had three since 1986 and going back for a fourth in two weeks - never had a problem of any kind whatsoever...they're not everyone's cup of tea but they're a fit for me. ATB

at the end ov the day mate its up to you were you get ya pup from

Hi i bought my new pup 6 weeks ago and picked her up from david myself , from the momment i met him he made me feel at ease a very friendly man who helped me with his vast knowledge as this is my first lurcher , i went into every dog pen and all appeared to be cleaned regularly with fresh bedding and healthy alert dogs inside ,the man himself cared very much about his animals and in his office were thankyou letters and updates about his pups going back many years.

As for my pup i have only good things to say about her . She is quick to learn , already at this young age she sits, retrieves back to hand with toy , jumps with toy and just starting to stay while i move away . i am so happy with her and would recommend a hancock dog to anyone.

Just curious but does anyone know the age of Mr Hancock ???

Dunno exactly but he must be in his 70s possibly nearer 80.

got my first dog off him in 1987 he said he was either 53 or 55 cant remember. so he is 77 or 79.
