I've have had 3 puppies from Hancock now. And am going back for another next month. Mine's all been fine - no shits, no blood, no trips to the vet, no nothing. All good. When I picked up my Kubla puppy in December Hancock was feeding a complete feed from TPMS Animal Feeds - 25% protein, 10% oil, 3.5% fibre and 8% ash with Vit A, Vit D3, Vit E and copper. I bought a 15kg sack from him and introduced my own preference (plus raw/bones) over the space of 6-8 weeks. My pup is now 7 months, is 25 1/2 inches to the shoulder and weighs approx 56lbs so he did really well on it. I do think that changing a puppy however from one diet to a completely new one within 3/4 days is asking for trouble. That's why I bought a 15kg sack and added raw/bones and my own complete food very slowly. 1 Quote Link to post

thorny 100
I was thinking now should I ask if they told him the same thing Did they tell you to expect the pup to have the shits, and don't be worried if it has a little streak of blood in it as it's not unusual ? Yes she is doing well now mate will post on the other thread now don't want to hijack this chaps thread At the end of the day, a bit of blood is not that good in a pup,but in most cases is just down to straining for the toilet rather than something sinister inside. I have a Hancock pup, He is doing really well, I will say He was a little under wieght when I bought Him home, but a week of descent grub and He was fine. Thorny 1 Quote Link to post

toby1066 413
why would you be happy about parting with good money to a puppy peddler who sells sickly pups from parents that dont work? its common knowlege hancock trys to get agility people to buy his pups now cos working folk have cotton on to him selling pups kept in dirty pens with poor food and socialisation 2 Quote Link to post
