I have my second from him and work my bitch alongside a very handy hancock dog that i would like for my own kennel!! I can feel a lamping comp coming on Hancock V's Non Hancock LOL Edited April 12, 2011 by Dave N Quote Link to post
Hamish.J.Cronan 13
I don't know much about the in's and out's, especially when it comes to people's feelings towards Hancock, but i know how great it's been getting a pup a few months back and spending time with him - hope all goes well with yours mate, have fun! 1 Quote Link to post
saxonmaster 74
as soon as i seen your heading mate straight away i was thinking poor lad who is really chuffed with his first lurcher and he is going to get slaughtered and put a downer on it for you. dont worry just put the hard work in mate and then in a couple of seasons bang the photos up of your days/nights out and let that do the talking even the so called working stock dogs dont always turn out to be great dogs. i have a hancock which is my first lurcher he aint no world beater and never will be SO WHAT i have great days/nights out with him great companion and company i take him everywhere with me love him to bits. yeah its not the best place to buy a pup and i wont buy another from there not because his pups are shit but because the adult dogs are not walked and dont get the attention they deserve but if you dont know someone who you can trust to buy a pup off then where do you go. all i can say is you have brought the pup now give the pup a good long happy life put the hard work in and all the best with it mate i really hope you enjoy your lurcher as much as i have. good luck 14 Quote Link to post

whin 463
border scot ive had collie crosses of hancock they were alrite but not great , had better luck with my home bred stuf by far naturaly soft mouthed on rabb natural fetchers ,i no the collie types are not about the same but any fecher who , goes to a peddlar, who doesnt try them before they breed them , keeps them like the chicken farmer he was well aint a dog man in any way or form and the twats who go there well they want to gang to gether and breed there own ,ive havent found the recipe for buying dogs which are never tested worked or done something before they breed them ,its like the ones who go to the whippet breeders who never work them just show them then a years down line there useless ,or deerhound show type , always see parents work before buying a dog or see the stamp of them ,make sense to me 1 Quote Link to post
