He mentioned conservation management including (whisper it) predator control, the employment shooting brings to the countryside and they even showed him carrying a gun! However, I've not seen it for a few years; maybe Countrywise is the newly re-branded nationwide version of it. In the last series (of Country Ways) there was an episode from near Slimbridge which featured a gamekeeper with the usual gundogs as well as a bull x greyhound (or at least it looked like one).
