saxonmaster 74
creatine will help swell the cells in the muscle hence the cell will hold more water to help the muscle work longer and help with recovery to. muscles are at there strongest /fittest when the cells are fully hydrated and energised. because you can hold more water it can make the muscle look fuller thats why people think it a muscle builder but it can also make you look bloated in all the places you dont want to look bloated but not sure if that is the same for dogs. i used to body build to a ok degree and have mates who do body building shows never got a buzz off it or anything like that but im sure it can have different affects on different people or dogs but i wouldnt want my dog to wired to be honest thats when mistakes happen. hope this helps cheers Quote Link to post
rolysmate 49
Just to point out chocolate flavoured protien drinks have no chocolate or cocoa in however dogs seem to love the flavour/taste Quote Link to post

trubshaw 6
ive heard some grayhound racing food contains creatine but dont use it my self so wouldnt know first hand read this article, have any tests actually been done on dogs ?,top class athletes(usually sprinters) who use creatine only measure there improvment in tenths or hundreths of a second,so what advantage can be gained by giving it to a well worked and exercised dog Quote Link to post
aj1980 5
Yeah? I dont know any one who has ever fed it too there lurchers mate, is it a drama getting it over here? used to get food of a fella who raced g/hounds & sold supliments & food etc but he said your dogs will go hyper for 4-5 week then go flat as f**k so thought give that stuff a miss Quote Link to post
