darren watson 14
Hi all. our lasses allotment's got rabbit crap on it and I'm wondering about the legality of shooting on it? she rents it off the council so would i need their permission, or would just hers do? any advice welcome. if it turns out its ok i think i'll canvas the entire allotment to see if any of the other plot owners have rabbit problems, im sure its rife with rats as well. SEAN3513 7
you need permission off the land owner OR tennant. but when getting involved with councils you will need a health and safety policy ( including risk assesments) and insurance. general shooting laws need to be taken into consideration i.e bounderies , footpaths and highways. from experience you will have better luck trapping rather than shooting. because if you add all the above together you have a hell of a mission to complete just to pop off a few bunnies. not trying to put you off , but you have to ask yourself if its worth it. cheers sean Quote Link to post
SEAN3513 7
this somthing like you will need risk assesment and you may need one for every tennant, landlord or agent. cheers sean Quote Link to post
darren watson 14
yeah, i had wondered how much of a mission it would be. I cant imagine the council ok'ing it, even if people on the surrounding plots did. Quote Link to post
