Recommended Posts

my ferrets never stays down to ground even if they killed young. dry food is the key it takes along time but they adjust. i have never had to dig them out making a mess of the land.i give them rabbit every now and again but boil them first to make sure all the blood as run clear, if they are blood thursty then you will end up with problems all the time. its the same with dogs if they are blood thursty you

will not stock break them, they will kill anything i site, hope

depends if your permission wants you to digg out the earths and if so then the land is at more risk of new diggs when the rabbits move on from their distroyed beds causeing the land owners more problems which im pretty sure they wouldnt mind.after all you want to lose your permission dont you?

Shooting them is a smart move - the above two posts are varying levels of stupidity.

I was out at the weekend. Everything was wrong as far as traditional ferreting was concerned but it was a paid job that had been delayed by the wait for some rabbit netting to be erected . Basically

Well there you have it the whole evolution of and hard-wired hunting instinct of one species re-routed thanks to a bag of dry ferret food and boiled rabbit. Utter crock of shit!!!   Can't believe yo

I have a solution. Whenever you've ruined a warren by digging to the ferrets, take some wood with you and build a little hutch for the rabbits so they don't need to dig themselves a new home, thus keeping the landowner happy cos there won't be any more holes, you won't need a spade cos when you go ferreting you can put the ferret in one side of the hutch and net the other side, and if the ferret catches the rabbit you can open the door instead of digging....I can't believe no one's thought of this before!!!! :victory:

When your digging the landowner will often come over to see what your doing and seems really amazed as you pull a rabbit out ,and as long as you fill it in right ive never had a problem

there are some right tits on here some want to get a f.u.c.k.i.n.g. grip and if they concentrated as much out in the field as they do on this site

then they would realise they spend more time sat on their arses. what gets me is half of these lot get the works then another hobbie comes along. bet most of you dont even exercise your dogs. bet their stuck in tiny pen wineing day and night rolling around all day in their own s.h.i.t.

what a life they are gettin. people come on this site to search info, give advice, and their experiances, not to slag people off. theres facebook
