We're looking at honour killings, women having to cover up in case a man can't control his sexual urges (which he isn't to blame for apparently) Forced marriages, Violence against women, circumcision! and so on and so fourth.

 

I'd also say that the girls that are going out doing the things you mentioned aren't cultured at all, they must be lacking in many of the sound fundamentals that are in the make up of a normal happy decent kid for one reason or another. it's a real shame.

It's a good thing you've chose to do with your life mate, I wish I had the strength to help kids in the same way but I think it'd crack me up. Fair play to you .

 

I think maybe my view of our society is a bit twisted by what i do mate, and although i do it because i can help blah blah, i have to be honest and say its also because i can be flexible with my time and basicly hunt 4 or so days a week in winter.

 

I think the thing with muslims, is that for the main parrt, it's just like anything else, most are very normal, not extreme at all, and think honour killings etc etc are as nuts as we do. But of course there are the nutters, that use the religion as a way of being a nasty wee b*****d, just like some do with christianity, or anything really. But those are the ones that tend to stick out and make you view the rest with suspicion.

 

What i mean is, the things you mentioned are not 'typical' for a muslim anymore than the stuff that the mormons do is typical for your average british christian.

 

I found that a lot of the muslims i met who think women should cover it, its more a reaction to our society, at least in the area where i work, they see our society as pretty sick and sex obsessed, so its less about muslim men as much as our men they worry about. That make sense.

 

Also for many they reckon that its a way of talking to and being with a women without making her into a physical object, not literally raping her, but just seeing her as a sexy women, rather than just a person. And we all know how hard it is to keep your mind on the job with a hot girl working next to you.

 

Now i know that the kids i see are at the bottem of the pile culture wise, but they are a growing group, we have a major problem with the kids of this country, they are spinning out of control, and we have several generations of it now. In my opinion we could maybe spend a bit more time worrying about what the f**k we are going to do about our kids than what another religion is wearing, truth is, i just dont car, aye its a bit mad, but whatever, so are bum-bags.

 

(p.s - i'd it cracks me up mate, some of the stuff i hear would make your nuts shrivel, and want to cry, most of em have parents who are drug addicts or violent, most of them are smoking, drinking, taking drugs, fighting and shagging by the age of 13, boys and girls)
