Is this a new caliber? 2.2? Or do you mean .22?

Leave it as standard. They can be converted, but in FAC guise only put out about 20 ft.lb, IMO not a worthwhile power gain for turning a good rifle into something that's almost impossible to sell on.

I don't see the point of FAC air, except for a VERY few situations where you simply can't use a .22LR, but in those situations there's little to gain from the tiny power increase.

Point in wrong spot e no flys on you then ,the thing is my mate has a bullet gun with a muz on it and it still makes a good crack, i am thinking that a air rifle at 40 ft.lb will be a hell of a lot quieter.

I see your point, 20 ft.lb is no gain and if thats what my gun is only going to give me then change it is

A .22 air rifle running at 20 ft.lb will be on the verge of supersonic, so will make a good crack. A .22LR with properly subsonic ammunition is far quieter, pretty much silent except for the sound of the firing pin striking the round. What calibre is your mates gun?
