owen vining 5
Hi all, I havn't posted for a while as I have not had much to shoot on our farm, but I've been doing a lot of target practice and HFT on a sunday morning. I was out doing target practice this afternoon after I got back from my dads and as I was walking back to the house a big feral pigeon landed on the stable roof. I leant up on the closest wall and took aim it was about 30metres so I gave it 1 mil dot holdover and took it through the neck, It didnt even flap its wings it just fell like a stone I think its the cleanest kill I have done on a pigeon. I was using RWS Superfields 22 what Si had recomended to me, they are a lot more accurate than the accupells I used to use. Owen here are some pics. Quote Link to post
