festa 206
well it started as a normal day at the office i came out of my 1st job around 11:30 and it was a cracking day so after eating fish n chips down by a little village harbour i gave my boss a ring and explained it was to nice a day to work and i was gonna finish a couple of hours early and he said ok so a quick call to wor kid who also was finishing early the plan was set i picked him up about 15:30 and and the course was set for our cumbria permission we arrived around 16:30 and after a quick zero and radio check we decided to try out the gillie suits as the light nights are with us we got to our 1st hide points and waited and waited and waited the the radio springs to life " you seen owt yet " nope was his reply so we moved around to the top fell after 10 mins i spotted my 1st (and only )bunny i was out in the open just sitting enjoying the sun and totally unprepared but the bunny just kept munching i managed to get into the prone (which just shows the gille suits do work) so a 30mtr bunny cross hairs lined up 1st stage then nothing :icon_eek:at that point i thought it would be a good idea to cock the s200 my movements were that slow the rabbit took 1 look at me and just kept eating ... silly little thing 1 in the bag then wor kid pipes up can you guess where i am as i looked over in the general direction the sky was black with corvids lol he popped 1 and the rest went mad on his way back to the van for tea n toast (or just coffee) he managed to bag his first bunny as well by this time the darkness had falling and after a cuppa and a swap of guns to the night vision rigs we headed back out where wor kid bagged another and i just walked around like a lost sheep and that was pretty much that for this session .. heres the quick scopecam video atb gary Quote Link to post
