hi chris i to have just purchased a r10 .my other gun is a mk4 daystate and i can see where your coming from with the build quality.but what you do have is a very accurate and consistent rifle.i tried 2 differant types of pellets.1st daystate high energy 15.9gr chrono 12.2ft lb .2nd rws super field 15.9gr chrono 11.6ft lb.both gave excellent groupings but would advice not to use daystate due to legality.i think the more you use your rifle you will forget about build quility and appreciate what an outstanding rifle the r10 is enjoy it.ste

Im not sure whats wrong with the quality of the rifle, walnut, no rough edges, brilliant barrel, regulated, new magizine system, carbine, lots of shots per fill, consistent and well balanced.

Accuracy wise, it puts a pellet on top of a pellet with ease at 40 metres if you do your bit.

Get some RWS Super Fields and try them and then tell us what you think pal.

With the r10 you get a good looker and a formidable hunting rifle all in one package.

If you got it to improve on your AAS410 though i think that you made a mistake pal especially if the AA fit you well.

The AA is a lovely rifle and very accurate and the r10 is defo no better or worse.
